These are designed, more-so, for fiberglass/sheet-metal canopies and we don't have enough information/experience with their use on Aluminum to give you an absolute answer. We recommend reaching out to Yakima, directly, to see if they may be able to provide a little more insight as their testing tends to extremely solid when they create this sort of equipment!
