Typically yes, you will just need to make sure the locks are in the unlock position. It may very depending on what rack you have so if you have any specific questions please feel free to email us at sales@rerack.com
To remove the rack from the car, I can leave the locks in the feet and don't need a control key?
The locks can just be unlocked to remove the rack from your car I would guess. So would not need a control key unless changing the cores.
