We cannot confirm that these crossbars can be used with a rooftop tent, I would recommend contacting Rhino Rack about the SXBS6 and your vehicle with tents. However, on Yakimas fit guide for an 06-2012 Nissan Pathfinder, they do not approve this vehicle for use with tents.
