Since the only way to find out your lock core number (if you don't have the key) is to actually take out the lock and look, you’re going to need an control key. A control key is a blank (uncut) key which can be used to remove the lock core. Unfortunately, if the rack is locked this can not be used.
For a locked Yakima rack you’re going to have to get help. Any Yakima dealer should have a master set of all the Yakima keys on hand. They can manually try every key until the find the one that fits your rack. If you are Portland local or within driving distance come into the shop!
